LAS VEGAS (AP) - UNLV's Romel Beck had a game-high 23 points and Odartey Blankson added 14 points and 12 rebounds Wednesday night in leading the Rebels to a 83-66 win over Florida Atlantic.

Beck hit 6 of 12 3-pointers, and teammate Andy Hannan connected on 4 of 6 attempts from beyond the arc. Hannan had 14 points.

UNLV (5-4) led by as many 13 points in the second half, but Florida Atlantic went on a 7-0 run, capped by a Rodney Webb 3-pointer, cutting the deficit to 52-46 with 11:51 to play.

UNLV responded by scoring 11 of the next 14 points to pull away for good.

The Rebels won their second game in as many nights after losing two of three to start the season.

Mike Bell led Florida Atlantic (1-7) with 19 points, and Webb added 18 points and nine rebounds.
