After suffering back-to-back losses for the first time this season, the UNLV women's basketball team (18-6, 7-4 MWC) is ready to get back to its winning ways against Air Force (3-21, 0-11 MWC), as the Lady Rebels host the Falcons in their regular season home finale on Saturday night at 7:30 pm in the Cox Pavilion. Saturday is also UNLV's Senior Night, and the Lady Rebels will honor their two seniors before the contest, InFini Robinson and Padra Strong.

The Lady Rebels' loss to New Mexico on Thursday night, in which they cut a 16-point lead to one but saw the Lobos hold on to the 59-54 victory, sent UNLV to third place in the MWC. With a 7-4 conference mark, they are one game ahead of Colorado State (6-5), with the Rams taking on Wyoming on Friday in Fort Collins.

UNLV brings in the league's top scoring offense at 72.2 points per game, while Air Force is allowing its opponents to score 70.8 ppg, worst in the MWC. However, the Lady Rebels have been held under 70 points in five straight games, after posting 70 or more in 14 of its first 18 games, all wins for UNLV. The Lady Rebels also lead the league and are fifth in the nation in rebound margin (+8.9), and are first in steals as well with 9.38 spg).

Having reached 18 wins against Wyoming on Feb. 19, UNLV has surpassed last year's win total, and is on pace for its second 20-win season in the last 12 years.
