LAS VEGAS - After taking the 2-1 series win against Michigan State last weekend, UNLV will look to continue its two-game win streak against the Thunderbirds of Southern Utah.

Ryan Ruiz has been consistent on offense, batting .409 with 17 RBI and 3 home runs. Brent Johnson anchored the UNLV plate performance on Sunday with his 5-for-6, 5 RBI performance in the Rebels' 20-8 victory over the Spartans.

Freshman lefthander Kevin Skogley (0-0) will get his first start of the year on Tuesday. Skogley has an ERA of 5.06 with 10 strikeouts this season in only 5.1 innings on the mound.
