LAS VEGAS - The 46th-ranked UNLV women's tennis team improved to 8-1 at home this season with a 7-0 win over Bowling Green at the Fertitta Tennis Complex Friday.
The Lady Rebels improved to 8-3 overall while the Falcons fell to 8-5.
UNLV began the day by sweeping three doubles matches for one team point.
In singles play, all six Lady Rebels won in straight sets: Gyorgyi Zsiros at No. 1, Agnieszka Abram at No. 2, Anne Claire Otiz-Luis at No. 3, Cindy Treber at No. 4, Claire Smith at No. 5 and Mery Constanti on Court Six.
The Lady Rebels will continue their 10-match homestand by hosting Middle Tennessee State Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
