Las Vegas - Michele Suszek finished ninth out of 139 runners and UNLV finished 15th as a team at the Stanford Invitational on Saturday.
Suszek finished the 6k course with a time of 22:19 to crack the top-10 at a meet for the second time this season. Ashley Pierce finished 69th (23:59), Samantha Serrano placed 113 (25:57), Leta Rose was 123rd (25:55) and Katie Hughes was 124th (25:59).
Stanford won the overall team championship with 34 points. Cal Poly was second, Chico State finished third, UC Irvine was fourth and UC Davis came in fifth in the 17-team field.
Stanford runners swept the first four places, led by Anita Siraki who won the individual championship with a time of 21:14
