LAS VEGAS - UNLV's RanDee Henry was named the Mountain West Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. It is the first weekly honor of the season for Henry, and the third in her two-year career at UNLV.

Henry, a 6-2 senior forward from Detroit, Mich., posted back-to-back games of 20 points and 10+ rebounds in leading the Lady Rebels to wins over Central Connecticut State and Canisius. Against CCSU, she scored 20 poitns and grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds while shooting 9-of-14 from the floor (64.3%). In UNLV's win over Canisius on Sunday, Henry finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds, and was 9-of-12 from the line. With the two double-doubles, she now has three straight, six on the season, and 19 in her two years at UNLV.

For the week, she averaged 20 points, 11.5 rebounds, and one assist per game. Henry was 53.8% from the floor (14-of-26), and 68.8% from the line (11-of-16).

UNLV (7-5) continues its seven-game homestand with a Saturday afternoon contest in the Cox Pavilion against High Point at 3 pm.
