LAS VEGAS - As the UNLV men's basketball team prepares for the 2005-06 season, fans will have an early chance to get to know the team on Saturday, October 22.

The event, which begins at 11 am at the Thomas & Mack Center, will have free food and the opportunity to get autographs and take pictures with members of the Runnin' Rebels. Posters and schedule cards will be given out and the event will feature music and giveaway prizes. Fans will also be able to interact with the players and coaches on the court. The event will conclude at 1 p.m.

2-for-1 tickets to that afternoon's UNLV football game vs. Utah at Sam Boyd Stadium at 4 p.m. will also be available.
