LAS VEGAS (AP) - UNLV's Louis Amundson had a team-high 14 points Friday night and three others recorded double figures in leading the Runnin' Rebels to an 81-63 exhibition victory over Division-II Bryant College (R.I.) at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Bryant College led by six in the first half, but UNLV went on a 24-12 run before halftime in extending its lead to 41-29 at the break. The Rebels scored the first six points of the second half and stretched its lead to 20 with 13:03 to play.
Dustin Villepigue added 12 for the Rebels, while Jo'Van Adams and Jason Petrimoulx each had 10. Gaston Essengue had a game-high eight rebounds for UNLV and Michael Umeh added nine points and seven assists.
UNLV (2-0 exhibition) opens its regular season Nov. 18 at home against Long Beach State at 7:30 p.m.
John Williams had a game-high 15 points and Chris Burns added 13 for Bryant College, who closed the game with a 16-12 run over the final 6:42.
