The UNLV women's basketball team takes a break from three straight weekends of tournament play, and go up north to take on their in-state rival in Saturday night's contest at Nevada, Reno at 7 pm. This is the 26th meeting between the schools, and UNLV has dominated the series with 20 wins, including a current five-game win streak against UNR.

A win this weekend would also be a personal milestone for UNLV head coach Regina Miller, as she comes into Saturday's game one win away from career victory #200 (199-178 over 14 years),

Another Lady Rebel closing in on a milestone is senior forward Sherry McCracklin, who is just 44 points away from becoming the 16th Lady Rebel to score 1,000 points at UNLV.

The Lady Rebels will look to continue their high scoring ways this weekend, as they rank fourth in the Mountain West Conference with a 696 ppg average. They are also one of the top rebounding teams in the league and have an impressive +8.8 rebound margin after the first six games of the season.

Saturday's game is the fifth of seven away from Las Vegas to begin the year for the Lady Rebels. They are currently undefeated at home, and have a perfect record on netural courts, with their two losses on the year coming at No. 18 DePaul and at California. Following the UNR game, UNLV will return home for a five-game homestand, including two games in the Duel In The Desert and the beginning of Mountain West Conference action.
