LAS VEGAS - The You Know Who's, under the direction of captain Mike Cruz, won all three events Thursday at the Rebel Challenge, a strength and conditioning competition that closes out the fall activities for UNLV baseball.

Wagner's Power Painters still lead the overall standings, and need to finish third in either one of Friday's final two events to win the overall team title.

Thursday's first event was the team stair challenge, held at the Cox Pavilion. It would be the first win of the day for the You Know Who's, which it won by only a second over Wagner's Power Painters.

Cruz then led his team to another event win in narrow fashion over Wagner's Power Painters, this time winning the farmer's walk relay by just two seconds. A valiant effort was made by Ryan Bird and his fellow Bombers teammate Braden Walker in the relay as they were the only two to compete in the five man event, finishing only seven seconds behind the leader in fourth place.

The final event of the day was the gator load and push which the You Know Who's won to complete the sweep. An under-manned Bombers team finished second behind the You Know Who's. Wagner's Power Painters struggled for the first time in the challenge, finishing last in the event.
