Moore Becomes Rebel Golf's All-Time Winningest Player

HUMBLE, Texas - UNLV senior golfer Ryan Moore shot a final-round 4-under-par 68 on Sunday and won the individual title at the Hall of Fame Invitational at 10-under for the tournament at Redstone Golf Club (par 72, 7,352 yards).

Moore (70-68-68--206, -10), who captured his third individual title of the season, became the winningest golfer in UNLV history by being victorious for the seventh time in his career. Before this weekend's tournament, Moore was tied with Warren Schutte (1989-93) for most career victories in program history at six apiece.

Moore finished one stroke ahead of Oklahoma State's Tyler Leon (76-64-67--207, -9) and two shots ahead of UNLV teammate Andres Gonzales (74-67-67--208, -8), who finished third.

As a team, UNLV (287-276-285--848, -16) finished second for the fourth time in its last five events. The other finish was a first-place effort at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Championship in Las Vegas.

Oklahoma State (292-270-284--846, -18) won the tournament by two shots. New Mexico (292-282-291--865, +1) finished third, Texas A&M (294-296-288--878, +14) was fourth, while Arizona (296-296-287--879, +15) and TCU (285-289-305--879, +15) both tied for fifth.

Sam Hunt (70-73-75--218, +2) was the only other Rebel player in the top 20 as he tied for 20th. Other Rebel players were Travis Whisman (73-72-76--221, +5; T29th) and Ryan Keeney (81-69-75--225, +9; T52nd).
