LAS VEGAS - UNLV senior Joel Kielbowicz stands a career-high 85th in the preseason edition of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings.

Kielbowicz posted a 20-10 record a year ago playing primarily in the No. 2 singles spot.

The graduate of Green Valley High School earned his first career ranking a year ago and rose as high as 91. He heads into his final season with a career record of 37-28 but has won 33 of his last 49 dual matches.

"Going into his senior season, it's nice to see Joel start off with a ranking based on his great play a year ago," UNLV men's head coach Owen Hambrook said. "We are looking forward to him being a team leader this year."

No UNLV men's doubles team was ranked. The Rebels begin action at ITA Regional in Las Vegas on Oct. 19-24.
