SUNNYVALE, Calif. - UNLV cross country ran its final regular season meet of the year, finishing 13th at the Santa Clara Invitational held at Baylands Park on Saturday morning.

Ali Ainsworth led the Rebels, placing 103rd with a time of 20:07.0 on the 5K course as the team finished with a total of 405 points.

Stanford won the team with a meet-low 68 points, followed by San Francisco with 99 and then UC Davis with 110 points. Charlotte Schonbeck of Nevada, Reno won the individual title with a time of 17:24.0.

Gabriella Benito was the next UNLV runner across the finish line, coming in 106th with a time of 20:20. She was followed by Laura Lundin (118th, 21:09), Ernestine Johnson (132nd, 22:13.0) and Tanesha Carr (136th, 29:01.0).

UNLV will take next weekend off before competing at the 2006 Mountain West Conference Cross Country Championships, held this year at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City on Nov. 11.
