WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The UNLV men's golf team shot a 4-over-par 284 on Wednesday during the final round of the PING Preview played at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club's Gold Course (par 70, 6,809 yards) and finished in fourth place with a 54-hole total of 7-over 847.

Florida (281-281-272--834, -6) shot a final-round 8-under 272 to win the tournament by four shots at 6-under 834. Oklahoma State (282-280-276--838, -2) finished second at 2-under, while Texas A&M (280-283-276--839, -1) was the only other team to finish under par as it was third at 1-under.
UNLV (283-280-284--847, +7) followed in fourth, while Georgia (279-289-280--848, +8) rounded out the top five.
Individually, Billy Horschel (70-70-63--203, -7) of Florida shot a final-round 7-under 63 and won the tournament by two shots with a total of 7-under 203. Georgia's Brian Harman (69-70-66--205, -5) finished second.
BYU's Daniel Summerhays tied an NCAA record with a 10-under 60 during the final round. According to research available at the tournament, Summerhays joined Brock Mackenzie of Washington (-12), Bryce Molder of Georgia Tech (-12) and Paul Casey of Arizona State (-10) as the only Division I golfers to record a 60. Summerhays finished tied for seventh at 1-under.
UNLV was led by senior Ryan Keeney (71-67-69--207, -3), who shot a final-round 1-under 69 and finished in fifth place at 3-under for the tournament.
Other Rebel scores: junior C.J. Gatto (68-72-72--212, +2; T18th), sophomore Eddie Olson (76-70-71--217, +7; T38th), junior Jarred Texter (72-71-74--217, +7; T38th) and freshman Brett Kanda (72-77-72--221, +11; T54th).
The Golden Horseshoe Golf Club will also host the 2007 NCAA Championship, which begins May 30.
UNLV's next action will be Oct. 29-31 at the Collegiate Match Play Championship at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
