LAS VEGAS - On Tuesday, Oct. 10, UNLV Athletics Director Mike Hamrick and UNLV Men's Basketball Head Coach Lon Kruger will be in St. George, Utah, to promote the upcoming Dec. 2 Runnin' Rebel game against Northern Arizona University at Dixie State College.
UNLV officials have been invited to speak at Dixie State's Colonel Club Luncheon, which is a weekly luncheon hosted by Dixie State Athletics Director Dexter Irvin. The luncheon will be held on Oct. 10 from 12-1 p.m. MT at the Gardner Center. Also scheduled to speak will be Irvin and select Dixie State coaches.
The Gardner Center is located on Dixie State's campus directly east of the Old Gymnasium and is the first building directly north of the softball field.
The luncheon is open to the public at a cost of seven dollars per person.

Tickets for the game on Dec. 2, which will begin at 4 p.m. MT at Dixie's Burns Arena, are priced at $30 for center court seats, $15 for baseline and UNLV students are $5 with valid ID. Burns Arena has an approximate seating capacity of 4,500.
The 2006-07 UNLV men's basketball season will get off to an exciting start on Tuesday, Nov. 7 with the Legends & Friends Classic golf event, a Runnin' Rebel alumni basketball game and former Rebel great Greg Anthony's jersey retirement during its exhibition game that evening against Dixie State College at the Thomas & Mack Center. UNLV opens the regular season on Friday, Nov. 10 at home against Hawaii. The game against the Rainbow Warriors will mark the first of five straight home games to open the season.
