Three Away Games To Be Televised

LAS VEGAS - Three upcoming UNLV men's basketball away games will be televised live back to Las Vegas, the athletics department announced Wednesday.

The Runnin' Rebels' first road game of the season on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Arizona will be shown live on Las Vegas One (Cox Cable 19) at 7:30 p.m. PST.

After UNLV plays a neutral-site game on Saturday, Dec. 2, in St. George, Utah, against Northern Arizona at 3 p.m. PST/4 p.m. MST, its next two away contests will also be televised in Las Vegas.

UNLV's game at Hawaii on Tues., Dec. 5, will be shown live on Las Vegas One at 9:00 p.m. PST, while the Runnin' Rebels game at Nevada, Reno, on Saturday, Dec. 9, will be shown live on KLAS TV-8 at 8:00 p.m. PST.

"We are pleased to be able to televise these important road games back to Las Vegas for our fans, sponsors and all those who enjoy Runnin' Rebel basketball," UNLV Athletics Director Mike Hamrick said.

Dave McCann will handle the play-by-play duties on all three television broadcasts, while Chris Maathuis will serve as the analyst.

UNLV has one game left on its season-opening five-game homestand: Saturday against San Francisco at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to that game as well as UNLV's game in St. George may be purchased online at UNLVtickets.com or by calling 702-739-FANS.
