LAS VEGAS - UNLV baseball will conclude its fall activities with the Rebel Challenge, a series of weight lifting and conditioning events over a period of five days that will bring a close to the team's workouts heading into the end of the 2006 fall semester.
The competition begins this Tuesday and will continue each day throughout the week, with it culminating on Friday. Each day of the challenge is slated to start at 4:30 p.m. (PST).
Head coach Buddy Gouldsmith and his staff broke down the team in six groups using a draft and there will be an individual winner and an overall team winner as well. Gouldsmith said that Braden Walker and Willie Bowman are the favorites to take home the individual crown.
