Coming off a huge win on Thursday night, an 89-71 blitzing of 19th-ranked DePaul, the Lady Rebels look to close out the year with another big victory as they host in-state rival Nevada, Reno on Saturday afternoon at 3 pm in the Cox Pavilion. UNLV (5-6) has won six straight against their rivals from the north, but this is the first time UNR brings in a better record into the yearly matchup at 6-5, and actually won their first three games of the year, including a six-point win over San Diego State.

Not only has UNLV never lost to the Wolf Pack in Las Vegas through 10 games, a win on Saturday would also keep alive one trend for the Lady Rebels this season. So far this year, UNLV has followed a pair of losses with a pair of wins, and a victory over UNR would complete that cycle for the third time.

Two keys to the game will be UNLV's continued improvement on offense and its rebounding. The Lady Rebels shot 45% in the win over DePaul, and was an impressive 82% from the line. In their six losses however, they have made just 53.8% at the line. The other will be rebounding, as UNLV outrebounded DePaul by 15, and hope to post another similar performance against the smaller UNR squad.

Saturday's game is the final non-conference game of the season, before UNLV begins Mountain West Conference play on Wednesday, in a 10 am (PST) matchup at TCU.
