LAS VEGAS - Seven UNLV football players were named to the Academic All-Mountain West Conference team, the league announced Wednesday.

Starting offensive lineman Mike McKiski was the sole repeat honoree for the Rebels as the graduate of Coronado High School in Henderson boasted a 3.45 GPA in communications.

Joining him on this year's team was quarterback Jarrod Jackson, wide receiver Casey Flair, defensive linemen Jacob Hales and Ryan Heise, and running backs Ryan Worthen and Kamuela Kapanui.

To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the school while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their team.
