Game On

Feb. 28, 2006

UNLV baseball will host UC Irvine tonight at 6:30 p.m. (PST) at Earl E. Wilson Stadium and admission to the game will be free.

The game between the Rebels and the Anteaters was originally scheduled to be played in Irvine, Calif., but heavy rains caused the game to be moved to Las Vegas instead.

The Rebels are 3-8 and have won their last two games by a combined score of 41-10 and will send left hander Ryan Tabor to the mound. UCI has won its last five games and are 9-5 overall, and the Anteaters will start right hander Gary Nakashima tonight.

Following tonight's game UNLV will host Texas and then Texas Tech in a five-game stretch that begins Friday with the Rebels playing the defending national champion Longhorns at 6:30 p.m. at Earl E. Wilson Stadium.
