LAS VEGAS - UNLV baseball will have 21 of its games broadcast this year on KSHP 1400 AM, marking the ninth straight year that the Rebels have been on the air, UNLV announced Tuesday.

The first game to be broadcast will be this weekend, when UNLV hosts defending national champion Texas for a three-game set, beginning Friday at 6:30 p.m. (PST) at Earl E. Wilson Stadium. All three games of the series can be heard on the radio.

Jon Sandler will handle play-by-play duties for the Rebels and this will be the veteran announcer's third season with UNLV baseball. Sandler is no stranger to Rebel fans, as he is the current play-by-play announcer for the Runnin' Rebels and also was part of the radio team for Rebel football.

A total of 10 home games and 11 road games will be carried as well as the Mountain West Conference Tournament games and the NCAA Tournament.
