LAS VEGAS - UNLV baseball has 12 players who will return next season that are continuing playing this summer in collegiate summer leagues all across the country. In fact no less than six different summer leagues have Rebels playing in them.

Chris Bonnell - Bonnell is hitting .298 (25-84) with four doubles and seven RBI in 23 games for the Wisconsin Woodchucks of the Northwoods League. Bonnell has started in 22 games and played in 23 total for the Woodchucks, who are 11-14 overall so far this summer.
Zach Borba - Borba has a .317 (19-60) average with three doubles, a triple and 10 RBI for the Aloha Knights of the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League. Borba has started in 16 games and has scored eight runs to go with five stolen bases. Overall the Knights are 11-6.
Michael Brenly - Brenly is batting .213 (13-61) with five RBI and a pair of doubles in 20 games for the La Crosse Loggers. The Loggers are second in the South Division of the Northwoods League with a record of 14-11.
Alex Chalfant - Chalfant has a record of 0-1 with a 5.83 ERA in nine games out of the bullpen for the Graham Roughnecks of the Texas Collegiate Baseball League. Chalfant has given up 11 runs, eight earned, on 17 hits in relief. He plays on the same team as UNLV teammate Ryan Kowalski. Overall the Roughnecks are 4-10 and in third place of the Rogers Hornsby League.
Blake Gailen - Gailen is hitting .333 (24-72) and with 10 RBI and, two doubles and a home run for the Fayetteville Swampdogs of the Coastal Plain League. His 24 hits leads the team and he has started in all 19 games this summer. Overall the Swampdogs are 15-4.
Anthony Hernandez - Hernandez is batting .364 (20-55) with three doubles and nine RBI in 16 games for the Salinas Valley Packers of the California Collegiate League. Hernandez has added five stolen bases and has scored 11 runs. Overall the Packers are 8-12.
Troy Harlander - Harlander is hitting .100 (1-10) with an RBI in five games for the Bellinham Bells of the West Coast Collegiate League. He plays on the same team as Rebel teammate Kyle Kretchmer. Overall the Bells are 4-7.
Ryan Kowalski - Kowalski is currently hitting .278 (10-36) with five RBI in 14 games for the Graham Roughnecks of the Texas Collegiate Baseball League. He plays on the same team as UNLV teammate Alex Chalfant. Overall the Roughnecks are 4-10 and in third place of the Rogers Hornsby League.
Kyle Kretchmer - Kretchmer is batting .250 (5-20) with a double and two RBI in nine games played, which includes six starts for the Bellingham Bells of the West Coast Collegiate League. Kretchmer has scored two runs and drawn three walks. He plays on the same team as Rebel teammate Troy Harlander. Overall the Bells are 4-7.
Efren Navarro Jr. - Navarro Jr. is hitting .283 (17-60) with 13 RBI and a pair of doubles for the Rochester Honkers of the Northwoods League. Navarro Jr. has scored six runs while also drawing eight walks in 19 games and this is the second-straight year that Navarro Jr. has played for the Honkers. The Honkers are leading the South Division of the league with an 18-7 record.
Chris Saddoris - Saddoris has recorded one save and has a 0.00 ERA in 11 innings of work for the Penisula Oilers of the Alaska Baseball League. Saddoris has made two starts and four total appearances. He has struck out 15 batters and given up just six hits. The Oilers are 9-8 overall.
Xavier Scruggs - Scruggs is hitting .333 (13-39) with one home run and 11 RBI for Athletes In Action Fire of the Alaska Baseball League. He has slugged three doubles and his 11 RBI are second on the team. Overall the Fire is 5-6.
