LAS VEGAS - UNLV football held a sneak peak game dress rehearsal on Saturday night at Sam Boyd Stadium heading into their final off day before the regular season.

Players went through scripted situations, including going in and out of the lockerroom at halftime.

"I'm excited. We are down to seven days until we play our first game and we still have a lot to get done," UNLV head coach Mike Sanford said. "But I accomplished what I wanted to do tonight."

UNLV will have Sunday off before resuming regular practice when school starts on Monday. The Rebels open their season at home against Idaho State at 7:00 p.m. (PDT) and fans can purchase tickets by calling 739-fans or at www.unlvtickets.com.
