LAS VEGAS - As part of next week's Homecoming festivities between UNLV and Colorado State, head coach Mike Sanford and his team are inviting all former Rebel football players to join them for an alumni event before the 6 p.m. kickoff.

The Rebels welcome Colorado State on Saturday, Oct. 20.

Former UNLV players who RSVP will receive two complimentary tickets (with an option to purchase additional seats at a special rate) and will be invited to a pregame tailgate dinner outside Sam Boyd Stadium. Football alumni will also receive a UNLV football T-shirt and will be invited to help welcome the current Rebels on to the field for their game vs. the Rams.

"I believe it is very important for our current players to know who came before them, so we are inviting all former Rebels to join us for Homecoming," Sanford said. "Involving a strong base of former UNLV players is another important step in helping us build a program that all Rebels - past and present - can be proud of each and every season."
