Rebel Challenge Gets Started

LAS VEGAS - UNLV baseball conducted the first three events of the Rebel Challenge, a series of weight lifting and conditioning events over a period of five days that will bring a close to the team's workouts heading into the end of the 2007 fall semester.

In the stair challenge the individual winner was JT Putt with a time of 3:05 while the victorious team was Big League, clocking a time of 19:05. Thomas Whitsett won the Farmers Walk, covering 121 yards, while the team victor was WTRFP, which went 372 yards.

The final event of the day was the team truck push, and Shock Value won with a time of 52:14.

After the first day of the event Kyle Kretchmer leads the individuals while the team overall leader is WTRFB.
