Second Day Results From Rebel Challenge

LAS VEGAS - UNLV baseball has concluded the second day of the Rebel Challenge, a series of weight lifting and conditioning events over a period of five days that will bring a close to the team's workouts heading into the end of the 2007 fall semester.

In the two-mile run John Birds was the individual winner with a time of 14:23 while the victorious team was Goof Troop.

The second event of the day on Wednesday was the team tug-o-war, and the winner was team Big League.

After two days of competition Kyle Kretchmer holds a four-point lead over Stephen Singer in the individual race while the Jhonnies have a four-point advantage over WTRFB, followed by Big League, Goof Troop, Shock Value and then the John Rockers.
