LAS VEGAS - The UNLV women's basketball team will play its lone exhibition game of the season on Tuesday, as it hosts Dixie State at 7 pm in the Cox Pavilion.

The Lady Rebels, coming off a 14-15 season last year, bring back four starters, including Las Vegas native Sequoia Holmes. The senior guard led UNLV in scoring last year while also earned Mountain West Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors and was a second-team all-league selection. UNLV also brings back junior center Shamela Hampton, a third-team All-MWC honoree, while eight newcomers also join the team for this season.

The regular season will tipoff for the Lady Rebels with five straight home games, beginning on Friday, when they host Long Beach State at 5 pm in the Thomas & Mack Center, as part of a doubleheader with the UNLV men's team.
