The UNLV Volleyball team made history today, as the squad is ranked 25th in the Nov. 5 version of the CSTV/AVCA Division I Coaches Top 25 Poll. This is the first time in the history of the program that is has been ranked in the top 25. After toiling around in the "receiving votes" category for the past seven weeks, the Rebels finally cracked the top 25.

UNLV enters the poll with an overall record of 19-3 and sharing a piece of first place in the Mountain West Conference with #18 Colorado State. UNLV and CSU own identical 10-2 league marks.

The Rebels began flirting with a national ranking back on Sept. 17, when the coaches placed them 26th. Unfortunately, some losses dropped the team from 26th into the bottom of those receiving votes. An eight-match winning streak has helped UNLV work its way back into contention and into today's current poll.
