LAS VEGAS - Four UNLV seniors were named official captains for the Rebel football program after a vote by their teammates during the bye week, head coach Mike Sanford announced.

For the first nine games of the season UNLV used captains on a game-by-game basis that were selected by the coaching staff.

The four permanent team captains are: linebacker Beau Bell (Tustin, Calif./Tustin HS), who has turned in an All-America-level season and had served as a weekly captain eight times this fall, defensive lineman Faauo Faga (Indian Springs, Nev./Nevada Springs HS), tight end Chris Butler (Canyon Country, CA/Canyon HS/College of the Canyons) and offensive lineman Tim Goins (Madison, AL/Bob Jones HS).

The quartet will lead the Rebels in their final home game of the season on Saturday night vs. San Diego State. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase online at unlvtickets.com or by calling (702) 739-FANS.
