Rebel Challenge Wraps Up

Dec. 1, 2007

LAS VEGAS - Stephen Singer took home the individual title and Jhonnies earned the team title as the 2007 Rebel Challenge, a series of conditioning competitions that spanned the past five days.

The final two events of the challenge took place today, with WTRFB earning the team title in the dodge ball. The last event was the Road to Omaha, with TJ Putt winning with a time of 5:53 and Big League the top team finisher with a collective time of 31:28.

Singer beat Steve Rinaudo by 12 points while Jhonnies narrowly beat Big League by four points, followed by WTRFB, Goof Troop, Shock Value and then John Rockers.

Team Jhonnies earned the team title for the 2007 Rebel Challenge.

That brings a close to the fall portion of the UNLV schedule and the Rebels' first game of the 2008 season is at home against Central Michigan on Feb. 22, at Earl E. Wilson Stadium.
