Rebel reliever Marc Baca picked up his second win of the season. In the final game of the series, UNLV sprinted out to an early 5-0 win thanks in part to a three-run home run by Efren Navarro Jr. Cal battled back though, scoring eight of the next nine runs to go up 8-6 entering the eighth inning. UNLV responded though, scoring five runs in the frame to move back ahead 11-8. Cal scored two runs of its own in the eighth to pull to within one at 11-10, but Baca pitched his way out of trouble and earned the save in the win.
