LAS VEGAS - Season tickets for UNLV's 2007 six home football games, including four dates vs. bowl champion teams, went on sale February 9, the athletics department announced.
Orders will be taken for the 2007 schedule and tickets will be assigned once the renewal deadlines for Rebel Athletic Fund members (May 1) and all current UNLV football season tickets holders (May 15) have passed. New ticket orders will be filled based on date of order received. Season tickets are scheduled to be mailed in early August.
The Rebels' home schedule begins September 8 when the University of Wisconsin, fresh from a Capital One Bowl victory and 12-1 overall record, returns to Sam Boyd Stadium for the first time since 2002. The Badgers have been part of all three of UNLV's all-time sell-outs, including a record crowd of 42,075 in Wisconsin's most-recent trip.
The following week, Hawaii Bowl champion University of Hawaii (11-3) will make its way to Las Vegas for the first time since 2003 with a September 15 meeting with UNLV.
The dates of the remaining four games, all vs. Mountain West Conference opponents, are expected to be determined by the league in April. The Rebels will play host to Pioneer PureVision Las Vegas Bowl champion BYU (11-2), Armed Forces Bowl winner Utah (8-5), San Diego State and Colorado State.
Season tickets for 2007 will be priced at $165 on the sidelines (not including RAF donation) and $90 in the end zone. Fans can order their tickets now by calling (702) 739-FANS with seat selection available in early June.
Individual tickets to UNLV's home games are scheduled to go on sale July 23. Prices are $30 sidelines/$17 end zone for Hawaii and BYU and $28/$15 for the Utah, San Diego State and Colorado State games. UNLV does not anticipate having single-game tickets available for the Wisconsin game.
