LAS VEGAS - The UNLV coaching staff and senior Jada Walker held a volleyball clinic at Cashman Middle School during the "2007 Cover The Uninsured Week" on April 25. The clinic was comprised of a group of Afer School All-Stars. The mission of the week was to provide comprehensive our of school programs that keep children safe and help them achieve in school and in life.

There were approximately 80 students in attendance and were broken up into groups of 20 for four sessions of specialized instruction. UNLV Head Coach Allison Keeley focused on conditioning. Assistant Coach Elaini Kollias taught passing and setting. Assistant Coach Sam Shweisky worked with the children on sports psychology, while Walker taught hitting.

Besides the aspect of teaching the game, Walker did some interviews conducted by the children. After the clinic, Hey Reb! showed up and helped with a raffle and handing out prizes.
