Get ready for the coming football season by attending UNLV's second annual women's clinic, which this year is titled "Puttin' on the Blitz."

Once again presented by Findlay Toyota, the event will be held Saturday, Aug. 25 inside Sam Boyd Stadium's luxurious, air-conditioned Club Level. Female fans of all ages are welcome to join your hosts, UNLV head football coach Mike Sanford and his wife, Melinda, along with the Rebel coaching staff and their wives, at this fun-filled event scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"The UNLV coaches' wives anticipate another exciting, fun-filled clinic for the community," said Melinda Sanford. "This year's event will provide new speakers and in-depth break-out sessions with individual coaches to give an even closer look at the game of football. Please bring out your family and friends."

Highlights include presentations and instruction from the offensive, defensive and special teams coaches, along with other educational aspects of the sport such as equipment and recruiting.

Attendees will enjoy a Starbucks Coffee social, a fashion show and question and answer session with various Rebel players, a lunch from Ciao Bella Catering, Rebel football apparel shopping, door prizes and an exclusive tour of the stadium.

The clinic costs $30 per person if you register by August 22 or $40 at the door and includes a t-shirt, tailgating recipes and more. Proceeds will benefit Opportunity Village.
