LAS VEGAS - On Wednesday afternoon, October 15, at the Thomas & Mack Center, the UNLV men's basketball team hosted its 2008 Media Shoot-Around. Local media was invited to spend time at the Thomas & Mack Center to shoot baskets with the team, get to know the players and head coach Lon Kruger a little better and check out the new display equipment at the arena.

UNLV's first official practice event - FirstLook 2008, presented by US Army Healthcare - will be held at 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17 at the Thomas & Mack Center. The event is free, open to the public, and doors open at 8:15 p.m.
