Rebel Women Begin Season Friday

This Week In UNLV Swimming (Oct. 20-26)

The UNLV women's squad will open its season with a conference home meet against the Rams of Colorado State on Friday at 2 pm. (Diving will be held at 11:30 am). All events will be in Buchanan Natatorium.
UNLV finished in a tie for second in the 2008-09 preseason coaches poll, while CSU was picked to finish fifth.
UNLV finished second at the 2008 season, and return several key members from that squad. Looking to lead the Rebels this season will be a pair of seniors, Bailey Kuestermeyer and Amanda Weinbrecht, and they will be joined by juniors Ana Dangalakova and Marva Harpak as the leaders for this year's team.
While this will be UNLV's first meet of the year, Colorado State started its swim season last weekend, as it took first place at the Early Bird Invitational held in Fort Collins, Colo.
CSU swimmers to watch out for include Nora Kennedy, Kathleen McCleary, and Breann Fuller
