UNLV men's basketball head coach Lon Kruger and the rest of the Runnin' Rebel coaching staff will host the 2008 UNLV Runnin' Rebel Coaching Clinic on Saturday, October 25 at the Thomas & Mack Center.

The clinic, which is available to all basketball coaches, will take place from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and costs $45. The day will be split into three teaching sessions focusing on offense, defense and scoring from the baseline. Participating coaches will also get the chance to see the Runnin' Rebels practice in both a morning and afternoon session.

After registration at 8 a.m., Clinic #1, "UNLV offense playing without a true 'big' man" will begin at 9 a.m. The Runnin' Rebels will then practice at 10 a.m. and after lunch, Clinic #2, "UNLV baseline out of bounds - scoring from the baseline," will take place starting at 1:15 p.m. Clinic #3, "UNLV man defense - keeping pressure on," will begin at 2 p.m. The second UNLV men's basketball practice session of the day will take place at 3 p.m., and will be followed by a question and answer session at 4:30 p.m.
