LAS VEGAS - UNLV baseball received signed national letters of intent from nine student-athletes who will enroll at UNLV next fall and be ready to play during the 2010 season for the Rebels, head coach Buddy Gouldsmith announced Tuesday.
"We are honored to announce the signing of each of these young men today," Gouldsmith said. "I feel like we have addressed many of our immediate and long term needs as we prepare to graduate 11 seniors. The strength of this class is a tribute to our entire staff, especially the tireless efforts of our recruiting coordinator, David Martinez."

"The strength of this class lies not only in the abilities of these fine young men on and off the field, but in their character as well," Gouldsmith said. "The individuals in this class represent student-athletes and families committed to both a quality education and playing collegiate baseball on a national stage."
