FORT WORTH, TEXAS - UNLV baseball junior J.J. Sferra was named to the Phillips 66 Mountain West Conference Championship All-Tournament team, the league announced following the tournament.

In three tournament games, Sferra went 7-for-11, including a 4-for-5 effort against Utah in an elimination game on Thursday. Clint Arnold of three-time MWC tournament champion TCU was named the MVP.

Sferra hit .325 (80-246) with 46 runs scored and 27 RBI, as he started 55 games and played in a total of 56, hitting leadoff for the Rebels.
