LAS VEGAS - The UNLV Volleyball program will host two "Young Rebel Clinics" and a "Kid's Night Out with the Rebels" in conjuncture with three Mountain West Conference matches over the next two months. The "Young Rebel Clinics" will take place from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm prior to UNLV's 1:00 pm matches with New Mexico on Sept. 27 and Wyoming on Oct. 18. The "Kid's Night Out with the Rebels" run from 3:30 to 9:30 pm following the Rebels' 1:00 pm match with Air Force.
The "Young Rebel Clinics" are for boys and girls from 10-14 years old. Beginner and intermediate instruction will be provided for the children. The cost is $20 and includes admission to that day's volleyball match.
The "Kid's Night Out with the Rebels" is for boys and girls from kindergarten through the eighth grade. Following the conclusion of UNLV's match with Air Force, the participants will join the volleyball team at the Cox Pavilion for fun and games, dinner and a UNLV men's basketball game vs. North Carolina A&T. The cost is $50. Parents are welcome to purchase tickets separately for both the volleyball and basketball games from www.UNLVTickets.com.
