SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - For the second straight day the UNLV swimming and diving program split a Mountain West Conference dual meet, as the Rebel men (2-0, 2-0 MWC) topped Utah 170-124, while the Rebel women (0-2, 0-2 MWC) fell just short, losing 149.5-148.5 to the Utes on Saturday afternoon.
UNLV won 12 of 16 events on the men's side, and were paced by a pair of double-event winners, Kier Maitland (500 free-4:35.81 and 1000 free-9:37.86), and Andrew Morrell (100 breast-57.95, 200 breast-2:05.91).
