LAS VEGAS - The athletics department invites fans to attend the annual UNLV Rebel Football Awards Banquet, which is set for this Sunday afternoon (Nov. 29).

The event has a new home this year at the South Point Hotel (9777 Las Vegas Blvd. South).

The 2009 Rebels, including 16 seniors, will be honored beginning with a reception at 2:30 p.m. followed by dinner and awards presentation at 3 p.m. Most valuable players for the offense, defense and special teams will be announced along with various other honors.

Individual tickets are available now for $50 each ($25 for current UNLV students).

The team closes its regular season on Saturday by hosting San Diego State beginning at 6 p.m.
