LAS VEGAS (AP)--Matt Shaw scored a career-high 16 points and Chace Stanback added a career-high-tying 15 to lead UNLV over Weber State 72-63 on Thursday night.
Shaw was 4 of 6 from 3-point range while Stanback had five rebounds and four blocks for UNLV (9-1).

Oscar Bellfield scored 10 points along with eight assists.
Kyle Bullinger scored a game-high 21 points to lead Weber State (5-5). He was 5 of 8 from 3-point range.
UNLV shot 25 of 53 (47 percent) from the field, while the Wildcats were 20 of 55 (36 percent). The Rebels were 10 of 23 from 3-point range (44 percent), while the Weber State was 10 of 24 (42 percent).
UNLV had a season-high nine blocks.
