The UNLV women's basketball team will make their third national TV appearance of the season on Saturday, when it looks to break a three-game losing streak by taking on the BYU Cougars in Provo on CBS College (Cox Digital Cable 334) at 1 pm (PST). UNLV is also looking to earn a split in the season series with the Cougars, after falling in Las Vegas 67-62 back in January.

This is UNLV's second three-game losing streak of the MWC season, and they broke their first one by winning on the road at Wyoming, before suffering the loss to BYU in the next game. In that contest, UNLV actually led by seven with four minutes to play but only scored one more basket in suffering the loss.

For the Lady Rebels to pull out a win at BYU, a feat they have only accomplished twice in school history, they will need improvement on their shooting, and get better production from the bench. UNLV has shot under 35% from the floor in the past four games, including two straight under 30%, while its bench has scored just eight points or less during that same stretch.

A win on Saturday would keep UNLV's hopes alive for a sixth or seventh seed in the MWC Tournament, while it would also be the second conference road win of the year.
