After posting a 2-6 record in the first half of the conference schedule for the second straight year, the UNLV women's basketball team will start their second trip through the league's teams looking to pick up a few more wins and make a move in the conference standings. That challenge starts on Saturday, as UNLV hosts New Mexico at 3 pm in the Cox Pavilion. Saturday is also National Girls and Women in Sports Day, and the UNLV athletic department will be hosting a pre-game clinic featuring several of UNLV women's athletic teams. Signup for the clinic begins at 1 pm in front of the Cox Pavilion for girls in grades 2-8, and all clinic participants will receive free admission to the game.
