Two Weekend Matinees Scheduled

FIRST SERVE: The UNLV Rebels return home for a pair of 1:00 pm contests in the Cox Pavilion this weekend when the San Diego State Aztecs and UMKC Kangaroos come to town on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The SDSU affair will close out the first half of Mountain West Conference action, while the UMKC tussle will be the final non-conference match for UNLV this season.

PARKING THIS WEEKEND: Parking at UNLV's volleyball matches will be altered at the Cox Pavilion this weekend due to the PBR Finals taking place inside the Thomas & Mack Center. Fans are asked to park inside the parking garage south of the Cox Pavilion, which will be free. Also, due to the Mendenhall Center construction, fans are asked to walk to the east (right) of the arena and then through the breeze way to access the stairs leading up to the court.

ON THE SIDELINES: The UNLV Rebels stays home to host the New Mexico Lobos and TCU Horned Frogs to open up the second half of Mountain West Conference action. UNLV welcomes UNM to town on Friday night, Oct. 29 (7:00 pm), while TCU follows on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 31 (1:00 pm). The UNLV-TCU match will be broadcast live on CBS College Sports.

REBEL REWIND: The UNLV Rebels went 0-2 last week with consecutive loses by 3-0 margins to their foes in the state of Utah - Utah and BYU.

Sara Nehf and Makenzie Moea'i led the Rebel offense in kills with 17 and 16, respectively. Nehf had six kills against Utah before throwing down a team-high 11 at BYU. Moea'i led the squad with 10 at Utah and then added six more against BYU. Nehf led the duo in digs with eight to Moea'i's six.

Kendra Glendenning and Amanda Alles split the setting duties in the two matches with Glendenning recording 31 assists to Alles' 20. Glendenning led the squad in assists both matches with 15 at Utah and 16 against BYU.

Kela Lau Hee and Glendenning were the only Rebels to notch double digits in digs with the former recording 20 to the latter's 13.

RECORD BOOK RAMBLINGS: The UNLV Rebels have seen the record book welcome some of their current players into the fold with help from their play this season. Amanda Alles ranks the highest of any Rebel with a sixth-place showing in assists with 871. Kela Lau Hee ranks ninth in digs with 727, while Sara Nehf is in the same position in attempts with 1,959. Nehf is on the outside looking in in the kill department with 715. She needs seven to tie Sheila Nicks (1984-85) tally of 722.
