FIRST SERVE: The UNLV Rebels return to Las Vegas this week for their final home matches of the 2010 season when they welcome the BYU Cougars and Utah Utes to town. UNLV will begin the action Thursday night at 7:00 pm when they face BYU on "Teacher & Staff Appreciation Day". The Rebels follow that up with "Senior Day" on Sunday afternoon in their 1:00 pm matinee against Utah.
UNLV seniors Kelsey Keeler, Kela Lau Hee, Jeralynn Makaiwi and Sara Nehf will all play in their final home matches Sunday.

ON THE SIDELINES: The UNLV Rebels hit the road for a road contest at San Diego State on Nov. 18 at 7:00 pm. The match will be the only one on the docket for UNLV that week.
REBEL REWIND: The UNLV Rebels went 0-2 last week with consecutive 3-1 losses in the Rocky Mountains against the then-#14 Colorado State Rams and Wyoming Cowgirls.
Sara Nehf led the Rebel offense in kills with 37 for a 4.62 per-set average, as she threw down 18 and 19, respectively, against the Rams and Cowgirls. Nehf notched her 10th career double-double in the CSU contest with a combined effort of 18 kills and 10 digs. She fell one dig shy of amassing another double-double, but fell short with only nine digs against UW.
Stephanie Thelen and Kendra Glendenning split the setting duties for UNLV with them dishing out 36 and 29 assists, respectively. Thelen had 17 against CSU before tossing up a career- and season-high 19 at UW. Glendenning had 15 and 14.
Kela Lau Hee and Nile Te'o provided the defense for UNLV. Lau Hee averaged 3.50 digs pet set and had 28 in all, while Te'o averaged 3.12 and had 25.
At the net, Madeline Westman contributed nine assisted blocks, wile Kelsey Keeler had eight total blocks, which included one solo effort.
RECORD BOOK RAMBLINGS: The UNLV Rebels have seen the career record book welcome some of their current players into the fold with help from their play this season. Amanda Alles ranks sixth in assists with 947. Kela Lau Hee ranks sixth in digs with 813. Sara Nehf is the only Rebel to place in two different categories, as she ranks eighth in total attempts (2,239) and ninth in kills (813).
Lau Hee, who was already listed in the Top 10 of the single-season dig record book, ranks seventh in the category with 348 this season. Her tally of 328 last year sits as the ninth-best effort.
