GAME NOTES: AIR FORCE at UNLV

-Senior Night 2010 saw 19 UNLV players honored before the game as Air Force defeated UNLV 35-20 for its fourth consecutive victory over the Rebels.
-UNLV, which finished 2-4 at home in Bobby Hauck's first season at the school, dropped to 4-8 in home finales since joining the MWC in 1999.
-UNLV freshman running back Tim Cornett scored UNLV's first touchdown of the night. It marked his fifth consecutive quarter scoring a TD after picking up four last week vs. Wyoming. With the two-yard rush, Cornett has eight touchdowns on the season (six rushing and two receiving), which tied the UNLV freshman record for a season (WR Lenny Ware with eight in 1996).
CLAYTON BECOMES ALL-TIME LEADER IN GAMES PLAYED AMONG UNLV QBs
By taking the field tonight vs. Air Force, UNLV senior Omar Clayton broke the school record for most games played as a quarterback at the school with 38. Clayton started 33 of those outings. Glenn Carano still holds the UNLV record for most career starts at the quarterback position with 36.

-UNLV junior wideout Phillip Payne's 36-yard touchdown reception from QB Omar Clayton moved him into a tie with George Thomas in fourth place on the school's career list with 18 receiving touchdowns. He is two scores away from third place and six behind all-time leader Henry Bailey, who totaled 24 from 1991-94.
-With his 14th-career 200-yard game as a Rebel, senior QB Omar Clayton moved into second place on UNLV's career passing yardage list with 6,211. He passed Jon Denton, who totaled 6,177 from 1996-97.
-UNLV place-kicker Nolan Kohorst made both of his field-goal attempts vs. Air Force to improve to 8-10 on the season. The freshman has made seven consecutive attempts dating back to Sept. 25.
-Playing his final game at Sam Boyd Stadium, senior linebacker Starr Fuimaono led all tacklers with a career-high 15 takedowns.
-The Rebels, who entered the locker room ahead 17-14, lost for the first time in 2010 after leading at halftime. They had been 2-0.
-Walk-on transfer receiver Trey Mays, who graduated from Las Vegas' Bishop Gorman High School before beginning his career at College of the Desert, set career highs in receptions (three) and yards (50). He was one of 10 Rebels to record at least one reception vs. Air Force.
