Recap | Final Stats | Photo Gallery

-UNLV opened the game with a 60-yard kickoff return by Marcus Sullivan before the drive stalled. Sullivan then posted a career-long 73-yard return later in the same quarter, which led to a touchdown. The true freshman came into the game ranked 13th in the nation in kickoff return average with 28.0 yards per attempt.

-SDSU's first-drive touchdown meant all 12 of UNLV's opponents in 2010 have scored first. Only one of those was a field goal.

-Nolan Kohorst's missed 44-yard field goal in the first quarter snapped the true freshman's string of seven made attempts, dating back to the New Mexico game on Sept. 25.

-Junior H-back Kyle Watkins scored his first touchdown as a Rebel with a 27-yard pass from Omar Clayton to close the first quarter. The scoring toss was the 46th of Clayton's career, which ranks second at the school behind only Randall Cunningham's 59 from 1982-84.

-UNLV dropped its fifth consecutive game at San Diego State as the Aztecs took a 12-8 lead in the all-time series.
