LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's basketball team will play its only exhibition game of the season on Monday, hosting Grand Canyon University at 5:30 pm in the Cox Pavilion.

The Lady Rebels, under third-year head coach Kathy Olivier, bring back five starters and 96% of its offense from last year's squad that finished with a 13-18 record. Highlighting the returnees is senior guard Erica Helms, a third team All-Mountain West Conference selection, and junior forward Jamie Smith, who was named Honorable Mention All-MWC. Other key returnees include sophomore guards Mia Bell and Kelli Thompson, while the Lady Rebels have four newcomers this year as well.

The regular season will tipoff for the Lady Rebels on Friday, Nov. 12, against Southern Utah at 5 pm in the Thomas & Mack Center, part of a double-header with the UNLV men's team.
